  • In a large bowl, whisk together all the ingredients except the bread.
  • Dip both sides of the bread in the batter, then transfer it to a hot, greased skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through.
  • Keep the toasts warm by placing them on a baking tray in a low oven set to 200℉ until you're ready to serve.
