Buttered Noodles

A quick and easy noodle recipe for busy weeknights! Made with basic pantry ingredients.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (or more to taste)

Instructions
 

  • Bring a medium pot of water to a rolling boil. Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water, then drain. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for one minute. Add the parmesan cheese and 2 tablespoons of the pasta water. Stir until the cheese melts.
  • Add the pasta, parsley, and black pepper. Toss until well combined. If the noodles are dry, add more pasta water.
