Mango Milk is one of my new favorite drinks to make after dinner. It's very refreshing, and you can easily adjust the amount of mangos or sweetness to your own taste. The best part is it's made with canned mango pulp, so you can make it year-round. However, if mangoes are in season, I always add a bunch as well.

    What mango pulp to use?

As I mentioned in my mango pudding recipe, there are two varieties that you can use: Kesar mangos or Alphonso mangos. There is a lot of debate about which is better but I'm here to tell you that it's Kesar. Kesar is more sour/tart so you don't need to add any extra lemon juice to make the mango milk taste good.

That said, you can use either and it should be fine. I would just add a little lemon juice as needed. If you're wondering where to buy them, I found mine in the "Indian" section of my grocery store. I think it's because mango pulp is quite popular for making Indian desserts like mango lassi.

This is such an easy and refreshing drink to make. You might think this is a summer only drink, but because it uses mango pulp, you can make it year round!

    Ingredients

    • 1 ¼ cups milk
    • ¼ cup canned mango pulp
    • 1-3 teaspoons sweetened condensed milk (to your own taste)
    • chopped mangos (optional)

    Instructions

    • Simply combine everything in a large cup and enjoy!

    Notes

*For leftover mango pulp and condensed milk, I store it in my freezer with some tin foil on top. Condensed milk is high in sugar so it does not freeze solid so it is easy to scoop some whenever you need it.
