Ground Beef Tacos

These ground beef tacos are easy to make and packed with flavor. Store the toppings separately, and it works great for meal prep as well.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • ½ cup water
  • 8 taco shells
  • topping as desired (tomatoes, lettuce, shredded cheese, sour cream, onions, guacamole, etc)

Taco seasoning

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, combine all the taco seasoning ingredients. Set aside.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until no longer pink, 7-8 minutes. If there's a lot of fat, drain some of it.
  • Add the seasoning mix and cook for 1 minute. Mix in the tomato paste and cook for another minute. Add the water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 3 minutes, or until thickened.
  • Serve inside taco shells with desired ingredients.
