Ground Beef and Broccoli

This Ground Beef and Broccoli is a spin on the classic Chinese takeout dish. Instead of sliced beef, it uses ground beef. It's incredibly easy to make and tastes delicious. Ready in 20 minutes or less.

For the sauce

  • In a small bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients and set aside.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli and saute for 1 minute. Add 3 tablespoons of water, cover with a lid, and cook for 2-3 minutes until crisp and tender. Remove the broccoli to a plate.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until no longer pink, breaking up the beef with a spatula as you go, 5-6 minutes.
  • Add the garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes. Add the sauce mixture, and cook until it thickens, about 1 minute. Add back the broccoli and toss until evenly coated. Enjoy!
