Classic Brownies

These classic brownies are fudgy, chocolate-y, and so easy to make! This is a recipe passed down to me from my friend's mom. They're seriously the best brownies I've ever had.

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F. Spray an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray. Line with parchment paper and spray the parchment with more cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, salt, and baking powder.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, oil, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the dry ingredients over the wet mix and stir until just combined.
  • Scrape the batter into your prepared dish and smooth out the top. Bake for 40-48 minutes. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out with just a few crumbs.
  • Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
